��Introduction��China Academic Conference on Printing and Packaging (CACPP) is Chinese only international printing and packaging academic event. CACPP is sponsored by China Academy of Printing Technology (CAPT), which is the largest comprehensive institute for printing technology in China. The annual CACPP aims at gathering professors, scholars, researchers and students from mainstream universities home and abroad, promoting industry-university-research exchange and cooperation, improving the technological innovation and international competitiveness of printing and packaging industry.CACPP will also focus on frontier technologies in printing, packaging and related fields, and promote multi-faceted and deep-level cooperation among education research institutes home and abroad. CACPP consists of keynote speeches, panel discussion, industry-university-research exchange and industry visiting, relating fields include color science & technology, image processing technology, digital media technology, digital publishing, printing engineering, packaging engineering, mechanical engineering and numerical control technology, materials and detection technology.CACPP has been successfully held for eight years, and has ever invited many well-known scholars for keynote speeches from USA, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Finland, Sweden, Australia, Japan, Thailand and India, and more than 20 countries’ professors and researchers have participated CACPP. The 8th CACPP in 2017 was held together with the 49th Conference of the International Circle of Education Institutes for Graphic Arts Technology and Management, and became a platform for academic exchanges between China and the whole world in printing and packaging fields, promoted international cooperation and exchanges.��Topics��1.
