Representatives of 2019 10th CACPP Visited Local Characteristic Institutions

On 17th November, 2019, the third day our 10th China Academic Conference on Printing and Packaging & Forum of Technology Integration Innovation Development. After the brilliant Keynote Speech, Forum of Technology Integration Innovation Development and Panel Discussion, some of our representatives visited China Light Industry Museum and State Key Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems Engineering.

Built by Shaanxi University of Science and Technology for the purpose of protect and carry forward the outstanding light industry historical and cultural heritage, China Light Industry Museum stressed on history of light industry development in China, accompanied by history of scientific and technological progress, light industry education development, national light industrial enterprises and light industry institutes development, which emphasized the glorious history and achievements of China's light industry, departments, research institutes and educational institutions, as well as the impact of light industry on people's lives. On the morning of 17th, participants first came here to visit and study.

Come Up to The Forefront of Precision Machinery Manufacturing: Visiting State Key Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems Engineering

State Key Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems Engineering is co-constructed by three National Key Disciplines of Xi’an Jiaotong University. The Laboratory combined modern information technology, management engineering and manufacturing technology, make full use of the new achievements in computer, communication, automation and management engineering field to develop new processes and technologies in the manufacturing industry, carried out interdisciplinary research on additive manufacturing, micro/nanofabrication and biomanufacturing.

Although tight in schedule, the visitors can still have an intuitive understanding of development achievements of light industry and innovation development of advanced manufacturing in China. The visit to China Light Industry Museum and State Key Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems Engineering expanded our understanding of the word “printing” and pointed new directions for teachers, students and researchers in application field of printing.

At this point, the 2019 10th China Academic Conference on Printing and Packaging & Forum of Technology Integration Innovation Development have been successfully concluded. The three-day conference covered academic reports, industry and research docking, topic discussion, field visits and other activities with rich contents and diverse forms. CACPP has been consecutively held for 10 sessions and had gradually developed into a high-end communication platform for CEEUSRO in the field of printing and packaging. CACPP also provided opportunities for communication among experts, research institutes and representatives of various enterprises, and promote the integration and sharing of technical resources at home and abroad as well.
