Xuesong MEI, he is the professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Mechanical Engineering of Xi'an Jiaotong University, the Yangtze River scholar Professor, the leader of the innovation team of the Ministry of Education on Mechanical Systems Diagnostics and Control, the deputy director of the Academic Committee of Xi'an Jiaotong University and the chief scientist of the National Key Research and Development Program “Laser Fine Manufacturing Process and Equipment for Aerospace Complex Components”. He also holds several social titles including the member of the National Science and Technology Innovation 2030 “Intelligent Manufacturing and Robotics”major project expert group, the member of“Networked Collaborative Manufacturing and Smart Factory”--the 13th Five-Year National Key R&D Program Expert Group, 12th Five-Year Plan 863 Program Advanced Manufacturing Field Subject Expert, etc..He has repeatedly been awarded the prize of science and technology progress at the level of the Ministry of Education, Shaanxi province and machinery industry, and the second prize for national teaching achievements once. He also edited 2 monographs in the field of CNC machine tools, published more than 300 journal articles (more than 180 in SCI/EI), and obtained more than 50 invention patents.
