Introduction

In order to maintain a sustainable and healthy development of the printing and packaging industry, and to improve the technological innovation and international competitiveness of China’s printing and packaging industry, Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, in co-operation with China Academy of Printing Technology will host “2012 Academic conference on China Printing and Packaging” in October 18 to 20, 2012 in Beijing.

As the large-scale international academic event in China’s printing and packaging industry, the conference aims to strengthen the international academic communication and cooperation. The conference consists of plenary lectures on “color science”, "graphic communication and image processing”, "engineering research and standardization, and “material science”, as well as general sessions on color science and technology, image processing technology, digital technology, Process Research and Standardization, Mechanical Engineering and Numerical Control Technology, Materials and Detection Technology, and printing history study.
